Remaining Hidden and Other Tracks / 他の隠しトラックなどなど

Remaining Hidden and Other Tracks

These are the last few hidden tracks and old songs by BUMP. I can't find much information on any of these, so I just decided to put them all in one big post.. For some, I was able to find out a bit of information. For others there's an audio file but for some I only have the name. A lot of these are BUMP's really old songs, and there are probably more! If anybody has any information about these or other songs please let me know! :) I actually really love these tracks that I could find audio for, they're great even though they're low quality files. :D Enjoy!

And with this, I end my translations of BUMP OF CHICKEN's songs until their next release. I'll be translating information on the discography, band members, and their official site from now. :)

18 Years Story  ------------ All I can find about this song is the audio, but I can't make out the lyrics: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ubbq4jjcbzA

デザートカントリー  (Desert Country) ----------- This song is entirely in English and is possibly a cover. I can't find the lyrics but you can listen to it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZCTdBwSuOg

Cosmos  -----------  BUMP covered this song, by the Japanese indie band Spypas (スパイパス) in return for Spypas covering BUMP's song R.A. (アルエ.) You can listen to the audio here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WqbVgbwZbA

Twist and Shout  ---------- This song has been covered by many artists, including The Beatles, and now BUMP OF CHICKEN as well. You can listen to it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6Lz7qq0TI8

Moon ---------- no information

グロリアス (Glorious) ---------- This song is all in English and is the precursor to Glorious Revolution. Thanks to user Datenshi Kuriko, we have a link to the audio (where it's not called Glorious, but Glorious Revolution English version.) Thanks!! A comment on the video says this recording is from Chiba LIVE in 1998. Here's the audio: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2z6_ufR_6ng.

グリーンロード (Green Road) ---------- no information

あの日の唄 (Around that Day) ---------- no information

リボルバー (Revolver) ---------- According to user Datenshi Kuriko (thanks!!) who gives me a lot of great information, this song was mistakenly associated with BUMP and they didn't actually sing it! Many places on the Internet say that it was, but it's most commonly believed that when the song first got uploaded online someone mislabeled it as a BUMP song. Oops! It's actually a song by Kururi. Other people think the mistaken association came about because Fujiwara's name is on the special thanks card in the CD. Or even possibly because Kururi and BUMP covered each other's songs songs at a live show and the audio got uploaded, making people think it was BUMP's original song. It's not clear what the answer is. These theories are discussed on a Japanese forum here: http://detail.chiebukuro.yahoo.co.jp/qa/question_detail/q145616009.

モーニングロウ (Mornin' Glow(?)) ---------- no information

Tinpost*Uncle On ------------ no information besides that it's a hidden track on Snowsmile

Thanks to all of these sources where I got the information used above:

    2. np!(^^) I am happy that I actually helping somebody somehow. And BTW, the song "Revolver" isn't covered by BUMP. Is just somebody mistaken that BUMP sang it. There's 3 possible cause/rumors, but the 1st one is the most popular cause. http://detail.chiebukuro.yahoo.co.jp/qa/question_detail/q145616009
