OPINION
This is one of BUMP OF CHICKEN's songs about not wanting to grow up. I'm so glad the band members didn't grow up to become suit-and-tie-wearing adults and instead went on to create all this music. I particularly love the tune of this song. It could alternately be translated as "Worthless Song," "Trivial Song," or something else along those lines. And this is just a theory, since I don't have access to the original lyrics and they might be different, but the frequency of kanji use goes down as the song progresses, like a kid's handwriting… Just a thought.
