If you're tired, come sit here for a while
Always, we wander, without a chance to rest
The world moves on towards tomorrow at a speed the eye can't catch
But what is that melody, that sound like an echoing bell?
I suddenly realize my white shoes are the color of the earth
Our favirite things always become dirty like this
The world erases yesterday as if nothing happened at all
I saw off my worn-down dreams and hopes with a forced smile
While lost in the changing scenery, that faint sound became my beacon
Within the disappearing scenery, the left-behind time
But what is that melody, that sound like an echoing bell?
Singing not yesterday nor tomorrow, but right now
The world makes a maze of all we have lived
And we stabbed a beacon deep into that time
How distant have I become? Since when did I get used to being alone?

OPINION
Doesn't this song have a great vibe? It feels like a meeting between two friends who haven't seen each other in a long time. Even though many things that happen to us aren't that memorable, there are experiences that stand out as if those moments in time have flags planted on them. This is a really poetic song, with all the sounds and imagery and metaphors and stuff... and I really love the bit about the earth-colored shoes.
