OPINION

Great imagery in this song, with sunken ships, divers, and light at the surface. It's all a metaphor about rescuing a person sunken in their own sadness, so that when the diver rescues the person it's a very happy moment. Also just as a note, the part about both of them being wounded is not encouraging self-harm.
